Watch!: What kind of guest is attracted to the Dior Suite?
Paul Nash: Our designer suites provide guests with a truly one-of-a-kind experience. The Dior Suite in particular is the ideal setting for fashionistas celebrating a glamorous post-Fashion Week soiree, those looking for a chic escape in a city full of haute couture shopping, or anyone with a love for the brand, which has been so thoughtfully integrated into the suite’s design.
Watch!: Why did the company choose Dior to join Tiffany in its designer portfolio?
Nash: As two of the world’s most beloved luxury brands, Dior and Tiffany share many of the same attributes of The St. Regis New York, including a timeless elegance and attention to detail. We will continue to add to our designer suite portfolio; the suites have long been a hallmark of the hotel and we will unveil additional partnerships with similarly like-minded brands in the near future.
Watch!: Why would someone choose the Dior Suite, as opposed to a similarly lavish suite?
Nash: Guests look to our designer suites for spaces with totally unique character and singular design. The Dior Suite reflects the signature Dior color palette, a sophisticated blend of muted and neutral colors, ranging from light pinks to warm whites to the signature Dior gray. The Dior Suite seems to be a full experience, rather than just a hotel room.
Watch!: What else does the hotel do to make guests feel comfortable?
Nash: Guests are in a 12th-floor corner suite that boasts breathtaking views of Fifth Avenue and Central Park. The signature 24-hour St. Regis butler service is certainly a highlight. Our butlers are experts in fulfilling any request, whether it be a favorite book or magazine, specialty nightcap before a big day, or a perfectly pressed suit. Guests are welcomed by their butler with tea or coffee upon arrival in the room, and throughout their stay they can enjoy the hotel’s house Bentley, which has been custom-designed for us and is truly the most stylish way to see Manhattan.
Watch!: What has been the response to the Dior Suite?
Nash: Since we unveiled it last year, there has been an amazing response-from guests booking for several-week stays to the suite being honored with such accolades as the chicest room in the city. It is consistently one of our most requested suites. We’ve even had guests comment how the suite makes them want to get dressed up for breakfast in bed!Back to top
