Exciting news for fans of Arc Raiders! The game is slashing prices on its store cosmetics, and for those who made purchases before the new pricing takes effect on November 13, a refund is on the way.
According to a recent update from Embark Studios, player feedback has prompted them to “review our prices and make adjustments to lower prices where applicable.” This change will be implemented starting tomorrow at 1.30am PT / 4.30am ET / 9.30am GMT).
In a show of goodwill, players who have already bought items at the previous rates will receive compensation for the price difference. The reimbursement will be issued as Raider Tokens, which will automatically reflect in players’ accounts within the next week.
Embark Studios has yet to disclose the new cosmetic prices or the exact discount percentage, but this move is set to please many players. A section of the community expressed dissatisfaction, highlighting that premium skins cost nearly “half the price of the game” itself.
New Matchmaking Features and Raider Decks
Alongside price adjustments, Embark Studios has been quietly testing duo matchmaking, which was activated earlier this week. The new matchmaking system prioritizes Solos and Squads separately, followed by Duos and Trios, though variations in player grouping may still occur.
Currently, there is one free Raider Deck available. Future offerings will include both free and premium decks, with gameplay items limited to free decks. To assist new players, some gameplay items are included in the free Raider Deck, unlocked through progression. Embark assures that premium Raider Decks focus on “cosmetics and convenience,” with no pay-to-win items.
