CBS Sports boasts a rich tradition and history with golf as the network has broadcast the sport for more than 60 years, so narrowing the list down to a few memorable moments is no small feat. We'll give it a shot.

Here are just 10 of our favorites, including highlights from the Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship, and the PGA TOUR.

1975 Masters

The Masters, broadcast on CBS for the last 64 years, will be played, as always, in Augusta, GA, but for the first time will be staged in November, from Nov. 12-15. Some consider the 1975 tourney to be the greatest of all time, featuring the talented triumvirate of Jack Nicklaus, Tom Weiskopf, and Johnny Miller. A 40-foot birdie putt that Nicklaus rolled in at the 16th green proved to be the difference-maker, securing him a record fifth Masters championship.

His outgoing personality and his "grip it and rip it" style of play made him an instant fan favorite. This year's edition—airing on CBS Aug. 8 and 9—will be the first major of 2020.

After a three-month long layoff due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the PGA TOUR and CBS Sports returned at the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. Undertaking one of the most complicated productions of all-time, CBS Sports used reduced on-site staff and multiple technical enhancements from trucks and sources all over the world to showcase the return to golf. The event culminated in a playoff between Collin Morikawa and eventual winner Daniel Berger.
