A curated collection of some of our favorite CBS, CBS All Access, SHOWTIME, The CW, and Pop TV shows that we're escaping to during quarantine and time stuck at home.

Naturally, we are limited at present interacting as we continue to practice social distancing and sheltering-in-place. But when all else fails, there is one constant: television.

What follows are a potpourri of options—comedies, dramas, and psychological thrillers—that will both entertain you and help forget about your troubles. All are available for binging, and all are worth either becoming acquainted with, catching up with, or simply revisiting. So sit back, relax, and let us entertain you.

Young Sheldon (CBS, CBS All Access)

Young or adult, you have to love TV's oddest character, Sheldon Cooper. So, a binge with Iain Armitage as the young prodigy on Young Sheldon will offer some comical insight into the early upbringing of the older eccentric Sheldon (Jim Parsons) on The Big Bang Theory.

Opposites attract is the underlining theme of now sophomore sitcom, The Neighborhood. With Max Greenfield's affable and often naïve Dave Johnson the perfect comical foil to Cedric the Entertainer as his more street savvy (and grumpy) neighbor Calvin Butler. Coupled with sensible wives Tina (Tichina Arnold) and Gemma (Beth Behrs), and their TV offspring, it is never a dull moment in this culturally diversified Los Angeles neighborhood.

Mom (CBS, CBS All Access)

Once upon a time, Anna Faris as Christy Plunkett was the young mother of two, including a pregnant teenage daughter, and a recovering alcoholic trying to make peace with Allison Janey as her dysfunctional mother Bonnie. Today, the pair have mended fences (well…almost), but it was no easy road to travel, which is well worth a visit.

Shameless (SHOWTIME)

Schitt’s Creek (Pop TV)

Sadly, April 7th on Pop TV marked the final episode of the Emmy-nominated comedy Schitt's Creek. But with an episode inventory of six seasons to enjoy, now is the time to revisit the clan named Rose – Johnny Levy (Eugene Levy), Moira (Catherine O'Hara), David (Dan Levy,) and Alexis (Annie Murphy) – as they comically rebuild their lives in the quirky town of Schitt's Creek after losing all their money.

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS All Access)

Starring Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan, CBS' hit H50 reboot just wrapped it's final 10th season and streams full episodes on CBS All Access. Coupled with the original Hawaii Five-0, starring Jack Lord from 1968 to 1980 and also available on CBS All Access, equals an astounding 22 years of TV crime solving!

For fans of either, or both, now is the time to see that crime does not pay in this picturesque tropical setting.

MacGyver (CBS, CBS All Access)

Once upon a time, a young Richard Dean Anderson portrayed Angus "Mac" MacGyver, a secret agent for a fictional United States government agency where he used his extraordinary talent for problem solving and his extensive knowledge of science to save lives in the classic TV series MacGyver. Now, we have Lucas Till in the title role, who for four seasons to-date continues in the action-adventure tradition in CBS' MacGyver reboot.

Homeland (SHOWTIME)

The winner of six Emmy Awards (including Outstanding Drama Series), spy thriller Homeland offered edge-of-your-seat drama for eight seasons. Initially, the focus was on Damian Lewis as Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody and Claire Danes as bipolar CIA officer Carrie Mathison. When Lewis' Brody leaves at the end of season three, the action shifts to Mathison and Mandy Patinkin as Saul Berenson, Carrie's mentor.
