Karmine Corp Shakes Up Scene by Disbanding VALORANT Academy Roster

Karmine Corp, a renowned French esports organization, has made a surprising announcement regarding its future in competitive gaming. In a strategic move, the organization has decided to disband its VALORANT academy roster and exit the VALORANT Challengers France league for the upcoming year. This decision marks a significant shift in the organization’s focus and strategy within the esports landscape.

Farewell to Karmine Corp Blue Stars

Reports indicate that Karmine Corp’s academy team, known as the Blue Stars, will no longer compete in 2026. Despite showing commendable performances during the 2025 season, including a second-place finish at the VALORANT Challengers France: Revolution Stage 2, the team was not eligible for the Ascension tournament. This led to the decision to part ways with the current roster and coaching staff. The reason behind this strategic move remains undisclosed, leaving fans and players in anticipation.

Former player Baptiste ‘Yohpa’ Khoury expressed his disappointment over the decision, stating he would have loved to continue with Karmine Corp, but he departs with gratitude for the experience.

Shifts in the 2026 VCT Roster

As Karmine Corp redirects its efforts, changes in the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) roster are also underway. Artur ‘pyrolll’ Minin has been released, and Matias ‘Saadhak’ Delipetro is no longer listed as part of the team according to the official VALORANT Champions Tour Contract Database. Yet, the roster for 2026 is taking shape with confirmed players Martin ‘marteen’ Pátek, Hazem ‘avez’ Khaled, and Dmitrii ‘SUYGETSU’ Iliushin.

Fans are eager for upcoming announcements about new signings as the Off//Season progresses rapidly. The organization is poised to finalize its roster in time for the next VCT season, ensuring ample preparation for competition.
