Not-So-Friendly Skies
Sam Hanna and G. Callen fly the cranky skies.
Callen: [pestering his partner on a plane] "Would you like me to get you some snacks?"
Hanna: "No."
Callen: "You might think better on a full stomach."
Hanna: "Not hungry and I'm not thinking."
Callen: "You want me to get you something to drink?"
Hanna: "Why don't you grab me a glass of shut the hell up? Make it a double!"
Couples Therapy
Partners Hanna and Callen might just overshare.
Hanna: "You're like Fatal Attraction with unlimited sequels."
Callen: "And for the record, none of them have been fatal."
Hanna: "Not yet. Word of advice: Don't get a rabbit."
Callen: "Just watch the road there, Dr. Phil."
Callen: "Anna likes to look."
Hanna: "You know I made it clear, I don't need to know all the details of your life."
Callen: "Houses...She likes to look at houses."
Nice Shot
Callen knows Hanna's got a serious throwing arm.
Hanna: "You got exactly 10 seconds to get out of here before I drag you out of here by your ears!"
Callen: "I'm going!" [comes in seconds later] "Uh, it looks like you're healing, by the way."
[Cue Hanna tossing his firing range earmuffs]
What's In A Name?
It's not easy being Grisha—um, uh, G.
Callen: "I'm not trying to saddle the team with someone that's trying to 'find themselves.'"
Hanna: "You didn't have a first name until a couple of years ago!"
A Real Pickle
Hanna and Callen prove that partners don't always have to agree on metaphors.
Hanna: "Well, we're here. Now what?"
Callen: "I don't know. It's a real pickle."
Hanna: "So we're just gonna sit here and wait?"
Callen: "That's exactly what the DOJ doesn't want us to do."
Hanna: "Well, then, are we gonna go inside?"
Callen: "And that is exactly what the FBI doesn't want us to do. Hence the pickle."
Hanna: "All right, enough with the pickle."
Cheers!
Partners who fight crime still need to dine.
Callen: "You wouldn't survive the streets without me."
Hanna: "In what way?"
Callen: "Diet, mainly."
Screwing Around
Communication and planning are Hanna and Callen's keys to success—sometimes.
Hanna: "You didn't bring the screwdriver, did you?"
Callen: "How was I supposed to know we're gonna need the screwdriver?"
Hanna: "It's called thinking ahead. That's what we do."
Callen: "You coulda brought the screwdriver!"
Hanna: "You had it last."
Callen: "Would you like to get the screwdriver?"
Hanna: "No."
Callen: "Would you like me to get the screwdriver?"
Hanna: "Yes."
Callen: "Are you irritated?"
Hanna: "A little…but mostly? I want you to just get the damn screwdriver."
Callen: "I'm gonna get the screwdriver."
XOXO!
Brotherly love comes with a big helping of sarcasm.
Callen: "I'm..supervising."
Hanna: "You're super getting on my nerves."
Callen: "A little bit?"
Hanna: "A little bit. You're super at that."
