A bite from the Protoclown poisons and forces its victim to confront the worst thing they have ever done. The Super Squad lures the clown to a bonfire so it can bite Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) and force her to remember killing Landon (Aria Shahghasemi). The memory rekindles old emotions and brings Hope closer to turning her humanity switch back on.

Once an all-powerful monster, his reputation was reversed by Malivore (Douglas Tait). The Necromancer briefly finds peace after returning a supernatural knife to Malivore yet reclaims necromancy to reinstate his magic powers. The current season finds him trapped in limbo with Landon.

A smiling Cupid stands in the school gym wearing a toga with a red sash over one shoulder.

Cupid’s arrow reveals feelings of love in whoever it targets. It brings Alyssa and MG together, and even ignites a love triangle between Dorian (Demetrius Bridges), Jed (Ben Levin), and Emma (Karen David). Things take a gruesome turn when the winged creature is found eating someone’s heart. The “Super-Squad” later discovers that they were not dealing with Cupid after all: The creature was actually Pothos, an erote that tried to eat the hearts of both Hope and Landon.

While the Salvatore School faces financial troubles, the creature attracts customers to a fundraiser. However, their luck is reversed when the leprechaun eats all of the money, as well as some supernatural objects. When the leprechaun later attempts to strangle Alaric, Cleo (Omono Okojie) must take matters into her own hands.

Seemingly a bartender, the man is actually a henchman working for Triad, an organization on a mission to kill all supernatural beings. Hope throws darts at him to discover his motive: Triad wants to destroy the tribrid. Before he can reveal the names of his employers, his Triad brand bursts into flames and kills him.

When a new threat in the form of a mummy steals a precious urn, Alaric, Hope, Josie (Kaylee Bryant), Lizzie (Jenny Boyd), Kaleb (Chris Lee), Dorian, and Emma take a road trip to find the artifact. The gang runs into some trouble when the mummy attracts a horde of flies—and Hope starts throwing them up.

A Gargoyle King comes to life and is eager to attack supernatural creatures. The gargoyle only targets magical beings who he considers evil, so he spares Alaric (a human). Hope and Josie use this to their advantage in defeating the creature.

The psychopomp resides in Limbo, where he ferries souls to “the other side.” Alaric, Landon, and the Necromancer earn coins in hopes of a spot on the Ferryman’s boat, although Alaric eventually uses a jinni’s wish to return to the living world.

And Don't Forget...

Among the many other spine-chilling supernatural creatures the Super Squad has faced are:

A Dragon: Alaric, Rafael (Peyton 'Alex' Smith), and Hope encounter a girl in the woods who breathes fire. When she later demands a knife from Landon, she angrily transforms into the form of a dragon.

Krampus: In a violent Christmas at the Salvatore School, the characters must fight a monster who chooses antagonism over holiday cheer. In defeating the creature, they save Santa, who it had trapped.

The Headless Horseman: The monster takes Landon hostage and brings him to Triad. It also steals a supernatural object from Landon to give Malivore, but fortunately Hope is able to stop it and save her boyfriend just in time.

A Unicorn: The characters soon discover that the beautiful animal is not as innocent as it seems: It harbors a parasite that controls minds. When students are infected during a school-wide talent show, Hope, Landon, Alaric, and Dorian must undo the damage.
