Bethesda Offers 2,000 Server Blade Keepsakes from Elder Scrolls Online

Despite the fact that The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2024, Bethesda has chosen to mark the milestone in 2025 with a unique collectible. Players now have the opportunity to own a literal part of the game’s legacy by purchasing a framed piece of server hardware that once powered the MMO.

The ESO 10-Year Anniversary Keepsake

Bethesda officially unveiled the Elder Scrolls Online 10-Year Anniversary Server Keepsake on April 15. This commemorative item includes a decorative plaque containing a real stick of RAM extracted from one of ESO’s original server blades. Each piece is priced at $110 and is now available for pre-order. Shipments are expected to begin in July 2025.

This limited-edition collectible is more than just a display item—it’s an actual component of the retired infrastructure that once hosted thousands of adventurers across Tamriel. Bethesda emphasized that only 2,000 units will be produced. Every plaque will be individually numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity, adding both exclusivity and potential future value.

A Trend Among Online Game Giants

The move echoes similar efforts by other developers to preserve pieces of their online legacies. While Bethesda’s release is not tied to a charity initiative, it mirrors a 2019 event in which Blizzard auctioned off World of Warcraft server blades for charitable causes. Both cases tap into nostalgia and long-term fan loyalty, offering players something tangible from the digital worlds they spent years exploring.

A Collectible for the Dedicated—and the Curious

Even those who aren’t die-hard ESO fans may find the idea appealing. Owning a piece of a game server is a rare chance to physically connect with a virtual experience. As these online universes eventually evolve, shut down, or fade away, items like this serve as a lasting token of the time spent within them.
