NVIDIA’s new Blackwell GPUs have made a significant entry into the industrial sector, now appearing in MXM boards tailored for advanced applications. Known for their power and efficiency, these GPUs provide configurations reaching up to RTX PRO 5000, equipped with an impressive 24 GB of VRAM. This marks a meaningful step in bringing high-performance graphics to specialized markets.
NVIDIA’s Blackwell MXM GPUs Unveiled by Aetina
In March 2025, NVIDIA unveiled its RTX PRO Blackwell GPU lineup for both desktop and laptop workstations. With the peak model being the RTX PRO 6000 for desktops and the RTX PRO 5000 for notebooks, the series has expanded over time. Now, these GPUs are making waves in the industrial sector with their MXM versions. Aetina is one manufacturer leading this charge, offering Blackwell MXM GPUs for applications in Edge AI, Industrial, and Embedded systems. Models include the MX500B-QA (RTX PRO 500), MX2000B-VA (RTX PRO 2000), MX4000B-WA (RTX PRO 4000), and the top-tier MX5000B-XA (RTX PRO 5000).

The flagship MX5000B-XA stands out with its GB203 GPU core, boasting 10,496 cores and 24 GB of GDDR7 VRAM. It operates within a TDP range of 95W to 175W and is capable of delivering up to 1824 AI TOPs and 49.8 FP32 single-precision compute performance. Compared to its predecessor, this model offers a twofold increase in AI processing speed and supports cutting-edge technologies like DLSS 4 and FP4.
Advanced Features and Market Expansion
These Blackwell GPUs are engineered for robust reliability, capable of operating between -40C to +85C. They feature moisture-proof conformal coating, shock resistance, stable mounting, and come with a 5-year warranty, making them ideal for industrial use. Besides Aetina, other companies like ADLINK are also incorporating RTX PRO Blackwell MXM GPUs into their offerings. While ADLINK currently lists only the RTX PRO 500 Blackwell as available, other models are anticipated soon. Both firms provide MXM Expansion kits for those looking to test these boards in standard PC setups via PCIe Gen4x16 slots.
