Players who own Battlefield 6 can access REDSEC as downloadable content directly through the game’s menu. For those yet to own the base game, downloading REDSEC currently requires accessing Battlefield 6. EA has not yet made REDSEC a standalone app.
Additionally, the comprehensive roadmap accompanying the release of REDSEC and Season 1 was revealed, showcasing a more extensive plan than previously shared earlier this year.
New Game Modes and Features
Season 1 introduces exciting new game modes, including a fresh Conquest map called Blackwell Ridge and the innovative REDSEC modes: a classic battle royale and multiplayer-inspired Gauntlet. These modes are set in Fort Lyndon, a thrilling battleground where players can engage in a 100-player battle royale or partake in the eight-squad Gauntlet, which offers dynamic missions such as Deadlock and Wreckage.

REDSEC also allows for customization through Portal, enabling players to tailor their experience and create unique versions of both battle modes.

The first battle pass is now available, offering players the opportunity to unlock new weapons like the SOR-300SC carbine and Mini-Scout sniper rifle, alongside character and weapon skins. Players aren’t required to engage with the battle pass unless they wish to access these exclusive items.
