BLAST Strengthens Data Alliance with Shikenso Analytics

Esports tournament organizer BLAST has announced an extended and enhanced partnership with Shikenso Analytics, a leading platform for esports data and analytics. Building on their collaboration that began in 2023, the two entities will continue to leverage advanced data tools to elevate the visibility of brands across BLAST’s premier esports tournaments.

Tracking Brand Impact Across Major Events

Under the renewed agreement, Shikenso Analytics will monitor and evaluate brand exposure during BLAST’s flagship competitions. These include high-profile events like BLAST Premier, RLCS, FNCS, BLAST Slam, BLAST R6, and the BLAST.tv Austin Major. The partnership aims to deliver precise insights into how brands perform across these global stages, helping sponsors maximize their engagement with esports audiences.

Shikenso’s Growing Influence in Esports

Shikenso Analytics, established in Germany in 2017, has become a key player in the esports data landscape. Its sophisticated toolkit features image recognition, audience analytics, audio and voice tracking, and sentiment analysis for text. These capabilities allow brands to gain a comprehensive understanding of their presence across multiple channels, including live streams, broadcasts, online media, and social platforms. Beyond BLAST, Shikenso has forged partnerships with prominent esports organizations, such as a multi-year deal with ESL FACEIT Group earlier in 2025, as well as collaborations with teams like Fnatic and G2 Esports. The company has also worked with talent agencies, including Fuse, Sportfive, and GroupM, to refine sponsorship strategies.

Expanding Beyond Esports

Shikenso’s reach extends beyond gaming, with ventures into traditional sports. In 2024, the company secured partnerships with the Belgian Pro League, Club Brugge, and the Icon League, founded by soccer icon Toni Kroos. These moves highlight Shikenso’s versatility in applying its analytics expertise across diverse competitive arenas.

BLAST’s Vision for 2025

James Brown, BLAST’s Commercial Director, emphasized the value of the partnership, noting that Shikenso’s data-driven insights have been transformative since 2023. He explained that expanding the collaboration was a logical step to enhance the value delivered to BLAST’s partners, especially with a packed 2025 schedule spanning four continents. Brown expressed enthusiasm for equipping sponsors with robust data to navigate the growing scale of BLAST’s events, ensuring they can connect effectively with fans worldwide.

A Partnership Poised for Success

The deepened alliance between BLAST and Shikenso Analytics underscores a shared commitment to advancing esports through data. As BLAST prepares for a landmark year with an expanded global footprint, Shikenso’s cutting-edge analytics will play a pivotal role in shaping how brands engage with the vibrant esports community.
