BLAST Teams Up with BetBoom for Brazil and LATAM Expansion

Esports fans, brace yourselves for riveting developments in the gaming world. The renowned tournament organiser, BLAST, is taking a giant leap forward by joining hands with BetBoom, an iGaming powerhouse, in a long-term collaboration. This exciting partnership sets the stage for a vibrant expansion of esports content across Brazil and the LATAM region, with BetBoom becoming the exclusive betting partner for BLAST’s premier events.

BLAST and BetBoom’s alliance will see an extensive push to broadcast BLAST Premier and BLAST Slam tournaments with local language support, enriching the gaming community’s experience across these regions.

Moreover, BetBoom gains exclusive media rights from 2026, promising a wave of dynamic content and activations. This collaboration also involves working closely with content creators to strengthen the presence of Counter-Strike and Dota 2 circuits in South America.

Unveiling New Opportunities

“This landmark deal will bring BLAST tournaments and the BetBoom brand to even wider audiences across Brazil and LATAM,” remarked Alexander Lewin, Senior Vice President of Commercial at BLAST. As this dynamic duo prepares to deliver top-tier entertainment, the region can look forward to more events and activities that cater to a passionate esports audience.

With 2025 marking a year of significant developments, BLAST continues to build its partnership portfolio. An earlier alliance with corporate payment company Corpay highlights BLAST’s ambition to cement its standing in the esports arena.

BLAST’s Global Expansion

BLAST’s expansion efforts aren’t confined to LATAM. This year, the organiser broadened its global reach by partnering with the Singapore Tourism Board to host four events. Starting with BLAST Slam IV, this venture showcases BLAST’s commitment to international growth.

Further extending its footprint, BLAST unveiled a three-year collaboration with GamingMalta in June to host BLAST Bounty and BLAST Slam tournaments in Malta until 2027. These strategic moves underscore BLAST’s position as a leader in the esports tournament scene, setting the stage for future innovations and fan engagement.
