As players near the end of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, they will have a decision to make regarding Chalier – a friendly Nevron who wants to duel. This decision would be the last side quest of Nevron in the game.
As the players fly Esquie to the Floating Cemetery, the floating scene comes into view. As they arrive, they see Chalier waiting for them by the heap of bones, ready to fight! Players can pick any one of the three weapons: either spear or sword or hammer but this choice doesn’t matter. After their choice, Chalier invites them to a nearby building to fight.

Rewards of Choice – To Spare Or Not To Spare
Once Chalier is defeated, he requests his own end. If you accept this request, this Auto Powerful Picto will give you a powerful buff for the first three turns. Alternatively, if you spare him then Chalier will be disappointed and leave behind 11,680 Chroma as a reward for sparing him.
Meeting with Blanche – The Consequences of Sparing Nevrons
After the interaction with Chalier, players are sent to a floating island called the Fountain, near the Spring Meadows. Here, Blanche awaits. If you spare Chalier and other Nevrons on the journey, Blanche gives you 100x Colour of Lumina. If any Nevrons are slain, Blanche will become aggressive, resulting in a heavy battle for players at level 80 or above. If you win this tough battle, you will earn 10x Colour of Lumina and 2x Grandiose Chroma Catalyst.
