This tournament has officially become the most-watched Clash Royale event ever, surpassing the previous record held by the 2018 World Finals with its 361,849 peak viewers. This year, the reigning champion Mohamed Light was featured in the two most-watched matches, including a thrilling Grand Final against Brazil’s Sub and a gripping Lower Bracket Final against Pedro ‘Pedro’ Sousa. Their matches accounted for the highest peak viewership and total hours watched.
The tournament’s most-visited channel on Twitch was hosted by the popular gaming creator jynxzi, attracting 78,377 peak viewers. However, YouTube emerged as the preferred platform for CRL fans, hitting 404,207 peak viewers in comparison to Twitch’s 188,085. The English broadcast drew the largest audience, with Portuguese and Spanish streams following.
What Made the CRL World Finals 2025 Different?
The 2025 season introduced a new community-focused format, with four organizations hosting events that provided leaderboard points and Golden and Silver Tickets for World Finals qualification. Each event boasted a $50,000 prize pool. This year’s World Finals also saw a change in venue, moving from Finland’s SuperFest in 2024 to DreamHack Atlanta from October 31st to November 2nd.
