Conquering the Moon Lord Raid Boss in Palworld: Strategies and Rewards

In the game Palworld, the Moon Lord from the game Terraria arrives as part of a major update. The newest raid boss to take on in Palworld is the Moon Lord – here’s where to find and beat it.

Preparing for the Moon Lord Battle

Preparing for the Moon Lord showdown in Palworld is similar to that of other raid bosses. Build a summoning altar on a suitable base. It is the battleground that will manifest the game’s raid bosses.

  • 100 Stone.
  • 20 Palidum Fragments.

It is better to have a separate base for raids as they can harm the structure. Choose a location that provides plenty of space to strengthen the surrounding borders of the Summoning Altar. Be sure to put any working Pals in the Palbox so they don’t get destroyed by the Moon Lord.

Moreover, obtaining a Celestial Sigil is needed to make the Moon Lord spawn.

Acquiring the Celestial Sigil

You can get a schematic of the Celestial Sigil after defeating the Eye of Cthulhu. Once you have the blueprint, use a crafting station at your base to create a Celestial Sigil with 100 Hallowed bars.

Hallowed Bars.

The new Terraria location will see the addition of chests in dungeons, which will contain bars which are useful for creating sigils. With one full sweep of the dungeon, you should have enough bars for multiple sigils because they are single-use only.

Moon Lord Showdown Strategy

With over 400000 HP, The Moon Lord is a level 50 raid boss. A tactical strike using the rocket launcher or guided missile launcher is necessary. Load up on ammo, grab some healing pots, and join forces with a high-level buddy.

Attempting this solo at a low level is ill-advised. A character of level 55 or up has a better chance, especially with the best armor possible. The Moon Lord has three weak points: the eyeball in his hand, the eyeball in his other hand, and the eyeball on his head.

Rewards from the Moon Lord Battle

When players defeat the Moon Lord, they are rewarded with various items including Ancient Civilization Cores, Ancient Civilization Parts, a pendant, skill fruit and a legendary weapon or armor.

The Moon Lord is different from the other bosses since you can never capture him or get an egg to hatch. We’re not sure if this is on purpose because of the Moon Lord’s strange status, or a bug.
