Funcom’s survival MMO Dune has launched on Steam with nearly 142,000 concurrent players shortly after the game was made available on June 10. The exact number of 142,050 concurrent users has pushed Dune into the top 10 most played games on Steam over the past day, making it the nine big game on the platform.
On June 5, the Head Start users had been already exploring this desert planet, but the full launch let all players play Arrakis. According to industry experts, the figures will only increase further over the game’s first weekend, seeing as Saturdays and Sundays tend to bring in more players on gaming consoles.
