Elite Teams Kick Off Stage 3 of StarLadder Budapest Major Strong

Counter-Strike 2 enthusiasts are witnessing a thrilling start to the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 3. The tournament has kicked off with powerhouse teams displaying impressive performances, setting the stage for an electrifying showdown. Some teams have established early dominance, while others find themselves battling to avoid elimination.

Flawless FURIA Starts Strong

FURIA has entered the Major with undeniable momentum, securing three Tier 1 victories prior to the event. They solidified their status as tournament frontrunners with a commanding 13-2 victory over NAVI. Despite NAVI’s previous success against FURIA in the Thunderpick World Championship 2025, their efforts were insufficient against FURIA’s steadfast defense.

The Brazilian team continued their dominant run by defeating Imperial Esports on Dust II with a score of 13-5, proving their top spot in December’s Valve Regional Standings.

Donk Domination For Team Spirit

Team Spirit has bounced back from a slight dip in form to secure their position as a formidable contender. They swept through their matches against Team Liquid and FaZe Clan, showcasing impeccable skill. Danil ‘Donk’ Kryshkovets marked his return with a stunning first-round pistol ace, setting the tone for a 13-8 victory on Train. Against FaZe Clan, Donk’s adeptness with the AWP led to another impressive ace. Team Spirit’s decisive 13-5 win on Dust II puts them just one victory away from the playoffs.

Consistent MOUZ Strikes Again

MOUZ continues to demonstrate their legendary consistency, overcoming a challenging first-round clash against Parivision. Trailing by two rounds at halftime, their powerful offense in the second half of Overpass pushed the match into overtime, where they claimed a 16-14 victory. In the second round, MOUZ comfortably defeated B8 with a 13-6 scoreline on Overpass, advancing to round three just shy of another playoff berth.

Four Teams On The Brink

After a rough start, Parivision, Team Liquid, Passion UA, and 3DMAX face potential elimination. Their next best-of-three matches will determine their fate, just before the Major moves to Budapest’s MVM Dome. December 5th marks round three, where some teams will secure playoff spots, while others will see their journey end.
