Epic TFT Open Descends on Las Vegas in 2026

The excitement is building as Teamfight Tactics prepares to host the TFT Open tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2026. This much-anticipated event marks a return to the vibrant city, which last hosted the inaugural tournament in 2023. Players from around the globe will have a chance to compete for glory in the auto battler extravaganza.

Return to Las Vegas

In December 2025, the announcement was made that the TFT Vegas Open would bring the competition back to North America after previous events in Macau and Paris in 2024 and 2025. The tournament remains open, allowing players of all skill levels the opportunity to vie for the prestigious Tactician’s Belt. While details about the venue, format, and prize pool are still under wraps, the previous event in 2023 saw 512 competitors at the MGM Grand Conference Center, battling for a share of $304,900.

Two years ago, Ryan ‘milala‘ Lai made headlines by winning the Tactician’s Belt and $100,000. He continued his success into 2024, winning both the Remix Rumble: NA K/DA Cup and the Remix Rumble Championship. The return to North America indicates Riot Games’ strategy of rotating regions, similar to the League of Legends World Championship, suggesting that the 2027 TFT Open might head to Asia once again.

TFT Paris Open 2025

Before the spotlight shifts to Las Vegas, the TFT Paris Open is captivating fans from December 12th to 14th. The prestigious event sees 768 players from across the globe gather at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, all competing for the Tactician’s Belt. The tournament features a Checkmate format, where competitors must earn 20 points to put others in check and then secure a win to achieve checkmate.

Enthusiasts can catch every moment of the action on the Teamfight Tactics Twitch channel, where the thrilling battles will unfold live.
