Erying Unveils Intel Core Ultra 200H MoDT Motherboards: Power-Packed 285H 16-Core mATX Starting at $140

Erying has unveiled its latest MoDT motherboards, featuring Intel’s Core Ultra 200H CPUs. These new offerings boast up to 16 cores and come at appealing price points, providing a competitive option for those seeking powerful yet cost-effective computing solutions.

Erying Breaks New Ground with Intel Core Ultra 200H MoDT Motherboards

In a groundbreaking move, Erying has become the first to release the next-generation MoDT motherboards equipped with Intel’s latest Core Ultra 200H CPUs. Following the trend from last year’s models, which included up to the Core Ultra 9 185H CPU, the new models cater to both entry-level PC builders and the eCafe market. The MoDT, or Mobile on Desktop, design integrates mobile chips like the Core Ultra 200H series into desktop motherboards. While these CPUs use a BGA socket typical for laptops, making upgrades difficult, their affordability compared to traditional desktop CPU and motherboard combos makes them highly attractive.

Performance and Specifications of Erying’s MoDT Motherboards

Erying’s second-generation Core Ultra MoDT designs utilize the Intel Core Ultra 200H series, which includes models like Core Ultra 5 225H, Core Ultra 7 265H, and the flagship Core Ultra 9 285H. These motherboards deliver up to 16 cores, clock speeds of up to 5.4 GHz, and 24 MB of L3 cache. Notably, they offer enhanced power delivery, allowing for up to 120W of CPU power, complemented by improved cooling solutions. The integrated Arc 140T GPU enhances graphics performance with up to 8 Xe+ cores and speeds up to 2.35 GHz.

The mATX-designed motherboard supports up to 120W of CPU power through an 8-phase DrMOSFET power delivery system. It features a PCIe 4.0 x8 slot, a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots, and dedicated heatsinks for the VRMs. With two DDR5 DIMM slots, it supports up to 128 GB DRAM capacities and speeds up to 5600 MT/s.

The I/O includes two USB 2.0, two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, HDMI outputs, a single DP output, a 2.5GbE LAN port, an expansion slot for a WIFI card, and a 3-channel audio jack.

Pricing and Value for Money

Sources highlight that Erying’s MoDT motherboards provide improved single-core performance and enhanced integrated graphics compared to previous generations. The board is compatible with high-performance discrete GPUs like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, which significantly boosts gaming capabilities in titles such as Cyberpunk 2077.

The standout feature of Erying’s MoDT motherboards with Intel Core Ultra 200H CPUs is their pricing, starting at under 1000 RMB or $140 US, with the flagship 285H model priced at around 2000 RMB or $300 US. This pricing strategy offers excellent value, as buyers receive both the CPU and motherboard in one package.
