Esports Personalities Giniro and TheGrefg Recognised in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe

Esports presenter Keltoum ‘Giniro’ Baddaje and Spanish content creator David ‘TheGrefg’ Martínez have been named among the most influential young figures in the 2025 edition of Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe.

The prestigious list, compiled by Forbes, highlights emerging talents across sports and games, recognizing their impact as entrepreneurs, visionaries, and leaders shaping the future of their industries.

Giniro: A Trailblazer in Esports Broadcasting

At just 26 years old, Giniro has established herself as a respected on-air host and interviewer in esports, with a career spanning major titles such as League of Legends, VALORANT, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Rocket League. Forbes noted her as the first Arabic woman to be featured in esports broadcasting, underlining her trailblazing role in an often underrepresented space.

In a message shared on social media, Giniro expressed that the recognition by Forbes left her speechless and emotionally moved, especially when reflecting on her younger self.

Giniro began her journey volunteering with NUEL, a collegiate esports organization in the UK. She later rose to prominence through her work with the LEC — League of Legends’ elite EMEA competition. Despite her successes, her participation in the Esports World Cup, an event supported by the Saudi Arabian government, has drawn criticism due to the country’s controversial human rights record.

TheGrefg: A Powerhouse in Digital Entertainment

David ‘TheGrefg’ Martínez, aged 27, is celebrated for his vast influence across digital platforms. With a subscriber base of 19 million on YouTube and over 12 million followers on Twitch, his content spans gaming, sports, and lifestyle. In the gaming sphere, he is especially known for his association with Fortnite, where he was immortalized in the game through the Icon Series.

His contributions extend beyond gaming, having also co-streamed the Kings League — a Spanish football league founded by former footballer Gerard Piqué Bernabeu.

Understanding the Forbes 30 Under 30 Initiative

The Forbes 30 Under 30 list is part of a broader recognition platform that celebrates individuals under 30 years old making remarkable strides across various sectors, including education, finance, and media. Nominees must be recommended by previous honorees and are evaluated by a panel of experts in their field.

Additional Industry Figures Honoured

Giniro and TheGrefg were joined by other notable figures from the gaming industry. Nicole Constantine, On-air Talent Manager at Riot Games, and Jessica Filby, Deputy Director at a gaming-focused media organization, were also featured in the 2025 list. Constantine shared her appreciation online, noting her gratitude for the inclusion in the prestigious group.

Although being named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 is a landmark moment in anyone’s career, the recognition of gaming professionals is not new. Past lists have also included prominent names such as Yousef Abdelfattah, a founding member of FaZe Clan, and VALORANT professional Melanie ‘meL’ Capone.

The growing presence of gaming personalities in such high-profile accolades underscores the increasing influence and legitimacy of esports and digital content creation in mainstream culture.
