The esports simulation game Esports Team Manager, developed by The Brain Trust, has recently announced the addition of Nathan Edmonds to its leadership team. Edmonds, a seasoned esports marketing professional, has taken on the role of Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer. His involvement is set to guide the game’s marketing and operational strategies as it approaches its anticipated launch in late 2025.
Extensive Experience Behind Edmonds’ New Role
With over a decade of experience in the esports sector, Edmonds brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing and leadership. His career includes work with prominent esports organizations like GIANTX, the esports job platform Hitmarker. In addition to these roles, Edmonds founded his own digital agency, Get In, where he currently serves as CEO.
Paul Capoccia, who leads The Brain Trust as Founder, CEO, and Lead Developer, emphasized Edmonds’ impact on the project. Capoccia highlighted that Edmonds will spearhead the global marketing efforts for Esports Team Manager and contribute to various operational tasks. He expressed enthusiasm about expanding the game’s reach internationally thanks to Edmonds’ extensive industry connections and experience.
Despite his new commitments, Edmonds has confirmed that he will continue managing his responsibilities at Get In without interruption. He also expressed admiration for Capoccia’s vision and approach to the game, feeling fortunate to collaborate with him on this venture.
What Players Can Expect From Esports Team Manager
Introduced earlier this year, Esports Team Manager is designed to offer a highly authentic esports management simulation. The gameplay allows users to oversee an entire esports organization, including hiring coaches, trading players, and devising team strategies. Unlike games centered around a single esports title, this simulation focuses on lane-based multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) esports, drawing inspiration from games like League of Legends.
Players interested in Esports Team Manager can already add it to their Steam wishlist. The game is set to launch in Early Access with a price tag around $20, with a planned increase after the initial release period.
