Fallout 4 December 2025 Update Brings Key Fixes and Addresses Player Concerns

As the holiday season approaches, Bethesda has delighted fans with a fresh update for the beloved game, Fallout 4. This December patch aims to enhance the player experience by addressing various issues raised by the community.

According to a recent announcement on Steam, Bethesda expressed gratitude to the game’s dedicated players for their invaluable feedback, which has been crucial in identifying and resolving key concerns. However, one eagerly anticipated feature, storage expansion on consoles, is set to be delayed until 2026. Bethesda explained, “It was a goal of ours to launch storage expansion on console this year, knowing it’s been one of the top requests from players. While the team has made progress, we need a little more time to roll this out for console players and will need to wait until the new year.”

The timing of this patch is significant, following the recent release of the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, which faced some criticism over technical issues and pricing. It also coincides with the launch of Fallout Season 2 on Prime Video, starting today, December 16, potentially bringing a new wave of players to the Fallout universe.
