GIANTX Enhances AI Coaching Tool With iTero Standalone

European esports powerhouse GIANTX has introduced a groundbreaking standalone version of iTero, an AI-driven training tool tailored for League of Legends enthusiasts. This innovative software promises to elevate gaming performance by leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence to dissect various facets of the MOBA game and offer precise improvement strategies.

Unveiling iTero Standalone

iTero Standalone is now available for download and offers a unique AI approach to analyzing gameplay, aiming to boost players’ precision and overall game mastery. This independent version provides suggestions on champion selection, counterplays, and optimal builds, along with insights into opponents’ strategies.

Founded in 2022 by Jack Joseph Williams, iTero Gaming is at the forefront of AI-driven gaming solutions. Their system sifts through millions of matches to tailor recommendations for both casual and professional players during active games.

GIANTX acquired iTero Gaming in July 2024 as a strategic move to enhance its technology ecosystem. This acquisition followed iTero Gaming’s successful pitch at the 2021 Esports Insider investment competition named The Clutch.

iTero’s Continued Growth

Since its inception, iTero’s tool has become a favorite among League of Legends players, with over 500,000 downloads to date. It has firmly established itself as a leading coaching tool for Riot Games’ beloved title. The increasing role of AI in esports coaching has spurred multiple organizations to explore similar initiatives.

For instance, in March, R6 Munich Major winners M80 collaborated with Omnic to enrich their coaching dynamics with AI. Furthermore, in January, Razer revealed Project AVA at CES 2025, an AI project designed to provide real-time performance insights using data from Team Razer’s experts.
