BamBam Lights Up the PGC Stage
Announced via official channels, the rapper and singer is gearing up for a stunning performance that promises to be a highlight for attendees. With the event being held at the Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand, this year’s PGC coincides with the PUBG Mobile Global Championship, marking the inaugural PUBG UNITED event. On Day 2 of the grand finals, BamBam will take to the stage, while Day 1 will feature dynamic acts including DJ Kim ‘R.Tee’ Jung-gu and beatboxers Geonho ‘Wing’ Kim and Oh ‘Hiss’ Hyeonseo.
PUBG has a rich history of embracing K-pop, with past performances by groups like virtual K-pop sensation PLAVE and girl group aespa during the PUBG Nations Cup.
PUBG UNITED: A Championship to Remember
Slated to begin at the end of November, the united championship event will see both PGC and PMGC determine their world champions. Each championship will feature 16 finalists, including a host country team: FULL SENSE for PGC, thanks to their stellar APAC performance, and Vampire Esports for the mobile tournament.
The climactic grand finals will occur from December 12th to 14th, showcasing six matches per day to crown the world champions.
Prize Pools and Prestigious Wins
Expectations are high as PGC and PMGC boast substantial prize pools. PGC champions will claim $500,000 from a total $1.5 million pool, while PMGC’s prize distribution across stages sees a total of $3 million up for grabs. The PMGC Grand Finals will award $500,000 to its champion out of a $1.6 million prize pool shared among the top 16 teams.
