Record-Breaking Viewership

During the thrilling Grand Final between Nova Esports and HomeBois BSE, the championship reached an impressive peak of 694,424 viewers, as reported by various sources. This match alone garnered 3.2 million hours of watch time over 110 hours of airtime. Despite this remarkable peak, the tournament’s average viewership was 29,113, a decline from last year’s average of 36,509 viewers.

The English broadcast of the event also made waves, capturing an audience of over 210,000 viewers, as the game continues to establish its presence across the globe. Notably, the peak viewership for this event eclipsed the record previously set by the Honor of Kings World Cup 2025, which peaked at 653,309 viewers.

Continued Growth For Honor Of Kings

The year 2025 has been pivotal for the Honor of Kings esports ecosystem. The KPL Grand Finals in November set a new Guinness World Record for the largest live attendance at an esports match, with 62,196 fans gathering in Beijing’s Bird’s Nest stadium to see All Gamers triumph over Wolves Esports.

Looking ahead, Honor of Kings is set to expand even further in 2026 with a detailed esports roadmap outlining six cross-regional events and regional competitions in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brazil.
