How to Try the New REPO Update Before Everyone Else

REPO’s first major content update has been teased for weeks, with developers dropping hints and answering questions about what’s coming. While the official launch date remains under wraps, players can jump into the open beta right now—no sign-ups or waiting required.

The beta gives everyone a chance to explore the new features early, though the developers have warned that some content might be missing and bugs could pop up. There’s no set end date for the testing phase, so players have plenty of time to check things out.

Getting Started With the Beta

To access the beta version, open Steam and head to the REPO listing in your library. Right-click the game, select Properties, then navigate to the Betas tab. From there, choose beta – beta branch from the dropdown menu. This will switch your game to the test version, downloading any necessary updates before you can jump in.

Once updated, players can experience all the new additions, including a brand-new map and tweaks to existing enemies. One of the most anticipated features—random matchmaking—is now live, letting players team up with others outside their usual group.

Share Your Thoughts With the Developers

If any issues come up during gameplay, or if players have suggestions, the REPO team is actively collecting feedback through their official Discord server. Dedicated channels are available for bug reports, general discussion, and even finding teammates for the beta.

This is a great opportunity to shape the final update before it goes live, so don’t miss out.
