The highly-regarded HWiNFO software, known for its reliability in hardware monitoring, has introduced support for upcoming Intel CPUs, alongside several bug fixes. This update is causing a stir among tech enthusiasts eager to learn more about Intel’s future releases.
Introducing Intel’s Latest CPU Families
HWiNFO has a reputation for being at the forefront when it comes to identifying new hardware releases. In its latest update, the software has highlighted the inclusion of two new Intel CPU families in its database, enhancing its utility for tech monitoring. Specifically, HWiNFO version 8.35 now supports the “Nova Lake H” and “Nova Lake HX” series. Currently released in beta, this version is anticipated to soon be available as a stable version, promising accurate chip monitoring for users.

These two families belong to the Nova Lake mobile segment, a topic of interest previously. Reports suggest that the Nova Lake HX, first mentioned in an NBD shipping manifest, will utilize a BGA 2540 socket, notably larger than that of the Arrow Lake HX models.
Specifications and Expectations
The Nova Lake H series is set to succeed the Panther Lake H family, featuring up to 16-core configurations with a hybrid design structure (4-P Coyote Cove + 8-E Arctic Wolf + 4 LP-E Arctic Wolf). Meanwhile, the Nova Lake HX variants are expected to feature up to 28 cores, doubling both Performance and Efficient cores, with a higher default TDP than the H variants. The Arrow Lake Refresh is also confirmed, with new SKUs such as the Core Ultra 9 290K Plus, Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus showcasing improved clocks and increased core counts.
