The world of graphics cards is experiencing a surprising shift. While gamers often gravitate towards AMD or NVIDIA for their high-speed options, Intel’s Arc Battlemage GPUs are making waves with their recent sales figures. Despite Intel’s typically modest market presence, their 12 GB VRAM offerings are catching attention against the backdrop of fluctuating GPU prices.
Intel Arc’s Unexpected Rise in Germany
Traditionally, AMD and NVIDIA dominate global GPU sales, but Intel is shaking things up in Germany. Intel’s Arc B580 GPU has made it into the top 15 best-selling graphics cards at Mindfactory, a well-known retailer in the region. Although AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 XT remains the leader with 725 units sold last week, Intel’s Arc B580 is gaining traction. Reports suggest that while the RX 9060 XT and NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series continue to perform well, Intel’s presence is notable. The Arc B580 sold 40 units, a significant jump from previous periods where sales were nearly nonexistent.

The Arc B580 now holds the 12th spot in sales, and Intel’s share at Mindfactory is inching towards 4%. Along with the Arc B580, the Arc B570 and Arc Pro B50 each sold 20 units, matching the RX 9070’s sales in the same period.

Intel’s Growing Impact
Intel’s Arc series is also making strides in the entry-level segment. The Arc A310 sold around 30 units, and while these figures may not seem staggering, they represent growing recognition. The Arc B580 and B570 are finally becoming viable alternatives, primarily due to their competitive pricing and substantial VRAM.
Overall, Intel has managed to exceed a 1% revenue share, with NVIDIA leading at nearly 56.13% and AMD following with 42.53%. Despite AMD selling 1545 units compared to NVIDIA’s 1140, Intel’s weekly sales reached over 100 units, with an average selling price of 231 Euros. Intel’s unexpected entrance into the competitive landscape suggests a shift in gamer preferences, potentially altering future market dynamics.
