Intel Arc B770 “Big Battlemage” Graphics Card Featuring Top BMG-G31 GPU Now Available

In an exciting development for gaming enthusiasts, Intel has hinted at the imminent release of its latest high-performance graphics card. Enthusiasts are buzzing about the Arc B770 “Battlemage,” which promises to deliver cutting-edge features and performance for the gaming community. This new addition is set to revolutionize the market, sparking anticipation for what Intel has in store for consumers.

Intel Arc B770 “Battlemage” Graphics Card Unveiled

Intel’s top-tier Battlemage graphics card, the Arc B770, has been added to the company’s GitHub repository, indicating a forthcoming release. Alongside existing models like the B580, A770, and A750, the B770 is expected to refresh Intel’s Arc B-Series lineup. Reports suggest that Intel is preparing to introduce this exciting new variant.

The Arc B770 aims to take over from the Arc A770 as the flagship model of Intel’s discrete graphics family. Following the Arc B570’s debut at CES 2025, the introduction of the B770 at CES 2026 would make it a year since the last major update. While Intel has released professional-grade Battlemage BMG-G21 GPUs, gamers have eagerly awaited a more powerful option.

Specifications and Competitive Positioning

Planned as a robust offering, the Intel Arc Battlemage BMG-G31 GPU is expected to come in four SKUs. The leaked Device IDs reinforce this speculation. This “Big Battlemage” is projected to support up to 32 Xe2 cores, 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, and aims to be an attractive upgrade over the Arc A770. Priced between $300-$400, it is designed to compete directly with NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 and AMD’s RX 9060 series. The Arc B770 is also anticipated to feature a TDP of 300W.

While Intel had initially broader aspirations for the Arc Battlemage lineup, several plans were shelved. Nonetheless, the BMG-G31 GPU, if released, will arrive as Intel transitions to the Xe3 architecture in its iGPU lineup. As the industry grapples with potential delays or cancellations from other manufacturers due to ongoing DRAM shortages, Intel’s moves in the GPU space are closely watched.
