After numerous mentions and endless speculation, the gaming community eagerly awaits the launch of Intel’s Arc B770 GPU. With each teaser and hint, anticipation grows for this highly anticipated piece of hardware.
Intel’s Subtle Hints and Community Excitement
At the start of the year, Intel stirred excitement among enthusiasts by hinting at a possible reveal of their flagship Xe2-based Arc B770 during Computex. Although there was no official announcement, Intel’s responses to curious users with phrases like “Stay Tuned” and “Solid Pick” suggested that the card was in development.
Intel’s recent responses to community queries further fueled the speculation. Though details remain scarce, these interactions indicate that the Arc B770 might still be on Intel’s roadmap. Arc B770 has been appearing for quite a while in leaks, and in recent days, we have seen Intel adding the BMG-G31 to the support list of VTune Profile Software. Additionally, a shipping manifest revealing a 300 W TDP for the card has surfaced.
The Silent Wait and Market Competition
Despite the buzz, Intel’s silence on the Arc B770’s release date puzzles many. While the Arc B580 and Arc B570 have been on the market for a year, no new Battlemage family GPUs have appeared, even as competitors like NVIDIA and AMD continue to roll out new products. This delay raises questions about Intel’s strategy in the competitive GPU market.
Rumors suggest a possible reveal at CES 2026; however, further delays could hinder Intel’s ability to capture a significant share of the mid-range GPU market. With the Arc B580 struggling, the Arc B770 represents a critical opportunity for Intel before transitioning to Xe3-based GPUs.
