Jack Black Takes On Double Role in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4

In Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, Jack Black is pulling double duty. Black is back in the latest Tony Hawk skateboarding video game – Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. The actor previously featured in the 2020 remake of the video game.

The versatile actor will play two characters that disturb the skaters’ fun and both are authority figures this time.

Meet the Anti-Skating Law Enforcement Twins

Black will return as Officer Dick and will be the voice of Dick’s British twin brother, Constable Richard. In the realm of the game, the two serve as antagonists, symbolizing “the man” that attempts to impose rules and regulations against the skaters.

A Villain with a Backstory

The backstory of Constable Richard Ennvee, an obvious reference to the THPS series, can be found in the developers’ notes. As per Activision, Richard was bullied as a kid because he was called a “poser” and this set him on a revenge path. Due to this childhood trauma, he grew up to be what they call the long arm of the law – a character who is clearly meant to put something amusing in your way while you skate.

The developer is clearly looking for ways to inject fun new characters into the beloved franchise. The addition of Black is sure to help players get into Mayhem when they have to deal with these twin enforcers.
