LCK Team BRION Transforms into Hanjin BRION for 2026

Korean esports powerhouse BRION Esports has just announced a significant partnership that will see the team rebrand under a new name for the upcoming season. The organization has teamed up with logistics giant Hanjin Co. Ltd, marking a new era for the esports team as they prepare to compete in the 2026 LCK season.

The team will now be known as ‘Hanjin BRION’ as they step into the new season. Although the financial details of this collaboration remain under wraps, reports suggest that the partnership will bring about a series of exciting changes.

BRION Welcomes a New Conglomeration

BRION’s fresh branding follows the conclusion of a three-year partnership with OK Savings Bank, part of the OK Financial Group. Sources have stated that Hanjin’s branding will now be prominently displayed on team uniforms, stadium installations, and both online and offline platforms. In addition to these visual changes, fan meets and promotional activities are in the pipeline, utilizing Hanjin’s extensive global network and marketing prowess. An official sponsorship signing ceremony is expected to take place soon.

Hanjin becomes part of BRION’s diverse array of partners, which includes streaming service CHZZK, brands like hummel and GOALSTUDIO, and money transfer service Utransfer. The collaboration also reflects a trend in the LCK, where non-endemic companies are increasingly investing in the esports scene to capitalize on its skyrocketing popularity. Notable examples include Hanwha Life Esports, backed by an insurance giant, and Nongshim RedForce, which emerged from a food and beverage brand’s acquisition.

Founded in 1945 and headquartered in Seoul, Hanjin stands as a leading logistics provider in Korea. As part of the Hanjin Group, the company holds a significant presence in numerous sectors, including aviation, real estate, and travel.

The new ‘Hanjin BRION’ identity is set to debut on January 14th, when the 2026 season kicks off with the LCK Cup. This tournament will determine the two Korean representatives at the season’s first international event, First Stand.
