LOS Grandes Makes a Comeback to CBLOL for the 2026 Season

The anticipation is building as Brazilian esports team LOS Grandes makes a triumphant return to CBLOL for the 2026 season. Having previously competed, the team is set to captivate fans once again in South America’s premier League of Legends competition. Their comeback follows Isurus’ decision to vacate its guest slot earlier in December, opening the door for LOS Grandes to step back into the spotlight.

The Path to CBLOL 2026

On December 16th, 2025, LOS Grandes announced their return to CBLOL, having proven their mettle in the Brazilian tier-two ecosystem throughout the year. Their journey in 2025 saw them secure top-four and top-six finishes in the Circuito Desafiante splits. Now, with a Guest Slot in hand, LOS Grandes will need to defend their place in the league during the 2026 promotion tournament.

A New Era for LOS Grandes

Back in 2024, LOS Grandes competed as a partner team before being left out due to the League of the Americas’ restructuring. Now, the stage is set for CBLOL to return with eight teams competing for international event qualifications. Starting January 17th, 2026, the competition will unfold at the Riot Games Arena in São Paulo, Brazil. The teams will face off in round-robin matches, with the top four advancing to the playoffs and the bottom four fighting for a second chance in the play-ins.

Building the Future

As LOS Grandes prepares for the upcoming season, significant changes are underway. After narrowly missing out on promotion earlier this year, the team is revamping its roster. While the starting line-up remains a mystery, the organisation has released players Gabriel Vinicius ‘Aegis’ Saes de Lemos and Lucas ‘Netuno’ Flores, paving the way for new talent. With their return to CBLOL, LOS Grandes is set to become a focal point of interest as they aim to solidify their legacy in Brazil’s thriving League of Legends scene.
