The top twelve teams from Ignite Stage 2 will battle it out at this year’s big event. A whopping $1 million (~£745,000) prize pool, which is the largest ever in Marvel Rivals’ history, will be up for grabs!

As teams battle in exciting storylines, and with the current meta in 4.5, expect high production value. Let’s take a more detailed glance at what seems set to be one of esports’ highlights.

100 Thieves has made its mark in the esports scene and has piqued the interest of Marvel Rivals gamers. The team won the 2025 North America Invitational and has had varying levels of success, including finishing second in the Season 1 Championship and third at Mid-Season Finals.

In The Americas Stage 2, 100 Thieves definitely made a statement. As a team, they defeated the previous Stage 1 champions, Sentinels, in the Group Stage and later defeated ENVY, their long-time rivals, in the Grand Finals with a 4-1 scoreline. 100 Thieves is one of three teams from the Americas qualified for the Ignite Grand Finals and must find a way to beat the best from Europe.

Virtus.pro: A Comeback Story

Virtus.pro has returned to LAN events after winning the EMEA Ignite Stage 2. This sets the stage for Virtus.pro to become a powerhouse in the Marvel Rivals scene after this event.

The squad was disappointed in Stage 1 as they could not qualify for the Mid-Season Finals and were eliminated from the Lower Bracket Finals by Citadel Gaming. The story changed in Stage 2, as Virtus.pro delivered a 4-2 Grand Finals result against Citadel Gaming for redemption.

Virtus.pro wants to show what they have got after the international competition, which is going to be the first time teams from the Americas, Asia and Oceania. Can the team carry on with its momentum in this esteemed event, or will it stumble?

Examining the Meta: Season 4.5 Dynamics

Marvel is launching a brand new update in Season 4.5 of Marvel Rivals, coinciding with the upcoming Ignite Grand Finals. In this update, popular characters will be getting significant upgrades. Right now, the “Dive” move is popular, used by Venom a lot, especially in stage 2. Teams may also use Psylocke and fan-favourite Emma Frost.

Another big trend is the emergence of triple support compositions featuring characters like Ultron and Jeff the Landshark, who make the team durable and inflict good damage. To counter this, teams have incorporated more damage boosts (such as Mantis) to secure key eliminations.

Daredevil, the latest hero, is a very interesting character. Because of his flanking and high-damage combos, chances are Aziz will do excellent damage in the upcoming clashes.

Fans can watch the Grand Finals live at DreamHack Atlanta or on the official Marvel Rivals Twitch and YouTube streams. This historic event will be filled with excitement and great moments for everyone in India.
