At the end of the 7th Airborne Squad quest (which is also the tutorial), players will face off against the Brute, the first boss that may confront them in Stellar Blade. The Elite Naytiba is a beast of the foe, armed with two gigantic red orbs. Although part of the tutorial, you have to timing the Brute’s attacks right. It’s interesting to note that players can fail in this battle and the fight is not lost as an ally will let you get defeated and take over to kill the creature.

Breaking Down Brute’s Attacks
The Brute has several different kinds of moves with different tells that players will be able to learn When the creature brings one hand near to the other while slightly arcing its back, expect a slow, heavy strike. However, if the head tilts quickly to one side, the swing is typically faster from that side.
If the Brute raises an arm to its stomach area and strides toward you, its arm will strike. An unmistakable snarl along with a raised arm above the head is a precursor to a combination attack in which the Brute will strike while spinning. Typically, a brief pause is introduced between this hit and the next, though some may make a quick strike again.

Handling Special Moves
Flee immediately when the Brute’s head flashes yellow. This is a strong double-armed forward smash, which requires you to do more than just dodge. If the boss slams down into the ground before attacking, the boss will focus a single blow instead.
A red glow on the Brute’s head is a critical warning. This indicates a rapid series of five consecutive attacks. In the first three strikes, you will notice a short pause in between, while the last two come together.
Mastering Parries and Balance
A Red attack is a chance to disturb the Brute’s Balance, symbolized by nine diamonds. If you want to lower the boss’s shields, you must Perfect Parries him. The right timing of these counters will give you the edge.
Tips for New Players.
If you’re new to action games, the Brute is quite a challenging enemy. If you lose all your health, the battle can’t succeed. For the time being, your weapon will be over- powered by Tachy’s help, while the fight will play out dramatically on-screen. This network allows players to experiment with the Brute’s patterns without fear of perma decline.
In the introductory fight against the Brute, players can study its move patterns, and learn and practice parries. Thus, they can turn it into a worthwhile test of skill.
