Call of Duty League team Miami Heretics has entered a new collaboration with Anthros, a company known for its ergonomic gaming chairs. This partnership brings Anthros’ innovative seating solutions to the forefront of Miami Heretics’ events, live streams, and various organizational activities.
While the financial details of this agreement have not been made public, the impact of the partnership is clear: Anthros chairs will now serve as the standard seating for players and events hosted by the team.
Anthros Becomes Official Seating Partner
The announcement was made through a LinkedIn post by Misfits Gaming Group, the parent organization behind Miami Heretics. In the post, Justic Stefanovic, Senior Vice President of Partnerships at Misfits Gaming Group, expressed strong enthusiasm about the collaboration. He explained that the team was excited to be working with Anthros due to the brand’s outstanding products and its understanding of how crucial proper posture is—particularly for gamers and professionals who remain seated for long periods.
Stefanovic emphasized that a focus on ergonomics and user comfort significantly enhances the gaming experience, adding that the team looked forward to working closely with Anthros moving forward.

Fan Engagement and Upcoming Events
The partnership also includes exclusive fan engagement initiatives and promotional campaigns, which are set to roll out throughout the year. Among the first major events to feature the new collaboration is the Call of Duty League Major 3, taking place from April 24 to 27 at the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena on the campus of Florida Atlantic University. Anthros chairs will be front and center during this high-profile tournament.
Jordan Trabue, Director of Partnerships & Gaming at Anthros, also commented on the deal via the same LinkedIn post. Trabue pointed out that gamers are among those who spend the most time seated and require a product built to sustain long hours of performance. He stated that Anthros designed their chairs to promote a healthy, powerful posture, allowing users to maintain focus and competitive energy through extended play sessions.
Anthros Expands Esports Presence
This partnership marks another significant step for Anthros as it continues to expand within the esports industry. The brand had previously signed a multi-year agreement with the ESL FACEIT Group, ensuring its chairs would feature at both ESL and DreamHack events.
The Miami Heretics partnership adds to a growing list of collaborations between gaming gear brands and esports franchises—a trend that has shown consistent growth throughout 2025.
Miami Heretics, officially established in 2023, represents the city of Miami in the Call of Duty League. The team emerged through a partnership between Team Heretics and Misfits Gaming, evolving from the former Florida Mutineers identity into its current form.
