Mount Holly Estate Room Guide

Mount Holly Estate in Blue Prince is a sprawling manor where exploration is key. Although the estate initially maps out 45 rooms, over twice that number can be discovered as players navigate the manor in pursuit of the elusive Room 46.

New rooms are recorded in the Room Directory once drafted, which compiles essential information and may hint at hidden elements or mechanics. Rooms fall into different categories, each offering distinct interactions:

  • Blueprint Rooms (blue border): Standard spaces with no inherent benefits or penalties.
  • Bedrooms (purple border): Provide a slight boost by replenishing Steps.
  • Hallways (orange border): Useful for extending routes within the estate.
  • Green Rooms (green border): Often exterior spaces that may feature Dig Spots and sometimes require Gems to unlock.
  • Red Rooms (red border): Frequently carry a cost or disadvantage but can present strategic options.
  • Shops (yellow border): Allow trading Coins for items or services, with changing inventories.

Rooms are further categorized based on the mechanics they introduce:

  • Puzzle Rooms offer optional challenges that may yield rewards, with some solvable daily and others only once.
  • Entry Rooms trigger effects upon each entry, which can be strategically leveraged.
  • Spread Rooms allow the dispersion of resources to other drafted locations.
  • Drafting Rooms affect room availability and can alter Draft Pools or re-roll options.
  • Mechanical Rooms control energy and contraptions that influence related areas.
  • Tomorrow Rooms activate delayed effects, often influencing the next in-game day.

Expansion Through Drafting

While many rooms are available from the start of each day, additional Blueprints can be collected to expand the Drafting Pool. Certain areas and objectives will only reveal themselves as exploration deepens.

Discovering all 110 unique Blueprints and Floor Plans grants a special in-game achievement: the Explorer’s Trophy.
