Dominating the Dota 2 Battlefield
MOUZ was one of 16 elite teams competing after qualifying via the Western Europe Closed Qualifier. This high-stakes tournament featured top-tier organizations, including past champions like Team Liquid and BetBoom Team. MOUZ kicked off with a strong start in the Group Stage, clinching victories against formidable opponents such as NAVI, Xtreme Gaming, and Roar Gaming, before facing their first setback against Team Spirit.
Triumph in the Grand Finals
The journey to the finals wasn’t easy for MOUZ, who faced an early setback in the playoffs after losing to PARAVISION. Nonetheless, they rallied through the Lower Brackets, defeating teams like HEROIC, OG Esports, BetBoom Team, and Team Liquid. In the Grand Finals, the tension was palpable as Team Spirit initially took the lead, but MOUZ fought back, winning three out of five maps to secure the championship. The pivotal victory ensured MOUZ’s status as the new PGL Wallachia champions.
Standout performances defined the finals, with Team Spirit’s Yatoro making a significant impact on the first map, and MOUZ’s BOOM delivering a stellar performance on the final map. The anticipation now builds for PGL Wallachia Season 7, set to return to Bucharest from March 5th to 15th, 2025, promising another thrilling showdown with 16 teams battling for the million-dollar prize.
