This new addition continues the legacy, promising strong performance and support for the latest technology standards.

Unveiling the MSI B760MPOWER

Following the success of last year’s Z790MPOWER and its first AMD platform motherboard, the B850MPOWER, MSI is gearing up to introduce the B760MPOWER. This new motherboard, designed for Intel’s LGA 1700 socket, supports a trio of CPU generations: the 12th Gen Alder Lake, 13th Gen Raptor Lake, and the 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh. Despite its affordable nature, it boasts robust power delivery systems and dual 8-pin connectors, preparing it to handle the most demanding tasks.

This motherboard is based on the B760 chipset, ensuring competitive pricing, anticipated to be under $200 US. It features an external BLCK generator, enhancing the overclocking experience with DDR5 memory support reaching speeds of 8000+ MT/s.

Specifications and Features

The MSI B760MPOWER equips users with two DDR5 DIMM slots supporting up to 128 GB of memory, ensuring that users can push their systems to their limits. It also includes a PCIe 5.0×16, a PCIe 4.0×4, and a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot, increasing its versatility. Storage solutions are ample with two M.2 Gen4x4 slots and six SATA III ports.

Connectivity options are extensive, offering a mix of USB ports including 1 USB 20 Gbps (Type-C), 4 USB 10 Gbps, and multiple others. Additionally, the motherboard is equipped with a 2.5GbE LAN port and an 8-channel audio jack. MSI has also ensured efficient cooling with an M.2 Shield Frozr heatsink and an extended VRM heatsink design. This board is ideal for overclockers looking to break new records with the LGA 1700 socket, promising more updates on its availability and release soon.
