Ninjas in Pyjamas Reveals Overhauled LPL 2026 Lineup

Global esports powerhouse Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) has unveiled its complete roster for the 2026 League of Legends Pro League (LPL) season. The announcement has stirred excitement among fans and analysts alike, as the team introduces a blend of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers to their lineup.

The New Roster

NIP’s new lineup includes two key Korean imports: top laner Yoon ‘HOYA’ Yong-ho and jungler Koo ‘Guwon’ Kwan-mo. They will join Chinese players Yang ‘Care’ Jie in the mid lane, ADC Zou ‘Assum’ Wei, and support Wang ‘Zhuo’ Xu-Zhuo. This strategic mix is expected to bring diverse skills and styles to the team as they aim for top-tier competition. Additionally, Zhou ‘Alley’ Yu will serve as the substitute top laner, bringing depth to the squad.

Strategic Changes and Challenges

The transitions come after a turbulent 2025 season where NIP experienced fluctuating performances. Initially strong, the team faced setbacks that resulted in a mid-tier finish and missing out on the Worlds qualification. The roster overhaul marks a fresh start, aiming to reclaim their competitive edge in the LPL. Head Coach Zeng ‘Maizijian’ Xin-Yi, rejoining after a previous tenure, will lead these efforts.

Upcoming Competitions

With aspirations running high, NIP will debut their revamped lineup at the Demacia Cup commencing on December 15th. This event precedes the official start of the new LPL season in January 2026. As NIP steps into this new chapter, fans eagerly anticipate how these changes will unfold on the competitive stage.
