NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang to Host Legendary “Trillion-Dollar” Feast With Taiwanese Partners This Month, Ushering in the Next AI Infrastructure Era

NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang, is gearing up for a significant visit to Taiwan this month. This trip not only marks the commencement of the construction of the company’s new Taiwan headquarters but also includes hosting a notable event known as the “trillion-dollar” dinner. Huang’s presence will underscore NVIDIA’s deepening ties with the region.

The Unveiling of “Constellation” HQ in Taiwan

January promises to be a hectic period for Jensen Huang, with the upcoming CES leading into his anticipated Taiwan visit. Reports suggest that NVIDIA’s chief is set to officially sign off on the construction of the “Constellation” headquarters in Taiwan this month. This new HQ represents NVIDIA’s inaugural global headquarters beyond US borders. The visit is also an opportunity to celebrate the end of the year with NVIDIA employees and engage in strategic discussions with Taiwanese supply chain partners at a special dinner gathering.

First introduced at Computex last year, the Constellation HQ project reflects NVIDIA’s commitment to Taiwan, where the company employs thousands. The headquarters will be located in the Beitou Shilin Science Park, spanning 3.89 hectares. Construction is slated to kick off this month once Jensen Huang finalizes the necessary documentation. Development had faced delays in the past due to insurance issues, but it now appears to be moving forward as planned.

A Strategic Dinner with Key Partners

Beyond the headquarters, Jensen Huang will also host his renowned “trillion-dollar” dinner, bringing together pivotal supply chain partners like TSMC, Foxconn, Quanta, and Wistron. While the dinner might not immediately affect supply chain operations, it underscores Huang’s strategy of maintaining close relationships with partners crucial to NVIDIA’s product cycle. Taiwanese collaborators are currently engaged in enhancing Blackwell Ultra production and advancing towards the Rubin AI lineup.

Taiwan has become indispensable for NVIDIA due to its critical role in the AI supply chain, making partnerships with companies like TSMC vital for NVIDIA’s global operations.
