OG Esports Reveals Fresh Logo Sans Red Bull

European powerhouse OG Esports is ushering in a fresh era with the unveiling of a new branding direction for 2026. This bold move sees the organization shedding its traditional color palette for a vibrant green, notably absent of the iconic Red Bull emblem. The transformation is a nod to OG Esports’ roots before the energy drink giant became a part of its identity.

The New Green Era

The reimagined OG Esports logo harks back to its earlier days, specifically the era before Red Bull’s sponsorship, prominently seen in events like The International 2016. The organization teased fans with hints of this change on December 31st, 2025, through an online skit. The new logo was officially revealed the next day, accompanied by the slogan ‘green shaped our history. Now, it fuels our future.’ Additionally, OG Esports announced that their 2026 jerseys, featuring the new green color scheme, will be available soon.

This shift signifies the conclusion of a significant chapter for OG Esports, as the Red Bull branding fades from prominence within the organization. While the partnership’s status remains uncertain, Red Bull continues to appear as a sponsor on OG’s website, alongside others like Secret Lab and Melbet. However, their presence is no longer visible on social media platforms.

OG Esports in 2025

The year 2025 was pivotal for OG, marked by transformative changes both in its ranks and behind the scenes. Notably, blockchain provider Chiliz Group acquired a 51% controlling stake, leading to the return of former co-owner Xavier Oswald as CEO. The founders, Johan ‘N0tail’ Sundstein and Sébastien ‘Ceb’ Debs, embarked on a ‘new strategic project’ focused on the team’s competitive foundation.

These changes catalyzed a significant reshuffle in OG’s Dota 2 lineup. The departure of the OG.LATAM trial roster occurred on October 21st, followed by the exit of the Dota 2 European roster later that month. By November 10th, OG Esports introduced an All-Filipino Dota 2 roster, alongside relocating operations from Europe to the Philippines.

OG Esports holds the distinction of being the first and only team to clinch back-to-back victories at The International in 2018 and 2019. After a less-than-stellar performance in 2025, the organization now sets its sights on reclaiming glory in the coming year.
