However, innovative Sage wall tactics by PRX sealed the map 13-11. PRX’s f0rsaken topped the leaderboard with impactful plays making them stand out from the crowd.

Fnatic Strikes Back on Icebox

In the second half, Fnatic’s strong post-plant retakes and kaajak’s Operator clutches did the job. PRX’s counterattack led to intense pushes to site B, which resulted in overtime. The two teams both had clutch moments to help their cause but kaajak’s cool under pressure led to a 17-15 win for Fnatic to tie the series.

Pearl Proves Pivotal for PRX

On Pearl, a map Fnatic usually doesn’t pick, the EMEA squad stunned with an impressively strong first half, led by Alfajer’s scintillating Neon plays. Fnatic won five consecutive games and was able to maintain momentum despite losing the first game in the second half.  PRX bettered their strategy in the second half — with Wang Jie “Jinggg” pulling creative Judge plays to bring down Fnatic’s defence to shambles. PRX’s constant pressure turned the tables and took the map 13-10 to regain momentum in the series.

Lotus Delivers a Dramatic Finale

Lotus, excellent map for both teams, began with tassels across the map. PRX took the first pistol round. But, Fnatic responded with a thrifty win. PRX kept control of the key map areas and defense and took a small 7-5 lead at halftime. Fnatic won another pistol round and levelled the match, however, PRX’s fearless yet calculated attack pushed them to a match point. Fnatic bounced back and got to an overtime situation with some aim duels, but PRX hold their composure and win again. A clutch 2v4 post-plant win sealed Lotus 14-12 for the title.
