Q3 2025 PC Market Highlights
Recent statistics indicate a growth in the global PC GPU market to 76.6 million units, alongside an increase in PC CPU shipments to 65 million units. Notably, discrete graphics cards saw a remarkable 10.7% rise, while notebook GPU shipments edged up by 1.4%. The total quarterly increase in GPU shipments was 2.5% compared to the previous quarter.

During the same period, AMD’s overall GPU market share saw a 0.9% increase. Meanwhile, Intel’s market share dropped by 0.9%, and NVIDIA saw a slight decline of 0.1%. Intel continues to lead the overall market with a 61% share, followed by NVIDIA at 24% and AMD at 15%. These figures incorporate shipments from all iGPUs, dGPUs, and eGPUs.
Annual Trends and Market Dynamics
On a yearly basis, NVIDIA’s share rose from 18% to 24%, while Intel’s slipped from 65% to 61%. AMD’s share decreased from 17% to 15%. In the discrete GPU segment, NVIDIA commands a significant 94% share, leaving AMD and Intel with 6% and 0%, respectively. This distribution is expected to remain consistent through Q3 2025.

In the CPU market, shipments increased by 2.2% from the previous quarter, with AMD capturing an additional 1% of the market while Intel experienced a 0.8% decrease. The division between desktop and notebook CPUs remains at 30% and 70% market share, respectively, unchanged from the prior year.
