Can You Play REPO with Friends on Other Platforms?

REPO has quickly gained attention as a thrilling multiplayer horror experience, where players team up to sneak through monster-filled environments in search of valuable loot. The combination of teamwork, tension, and laughter has made it especially enjoyable in social settings—raising a common question: can players join forces across different gaming platforms?

Current Platform Availability

At the moment, REPO does not support cross-platform play. The game is currently only available on PC via Steam. Since it’s still in early access and launched less than a month ago, core systems are still under development by the studio behind it, semiwork. Because of this, the game remains exclusive to Steam, and no console versions—whether for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, or Nintendo Switch—have been released or confirmed.

Possibility of Console Ports

Although semiwork hasn’t officially announced plans to bring REPO to other platforms, they haven’t ruled it out either. Given the game’s growing popularity, a future console release seems like a logical step, but as of now, there’s no confirmed roadmap or timeline. Any potential console versions would likely only appear after REPO exits early access.

Early Access Timeline

So, when is REPO expected to leave early access? According to its Steam listing, the developers plan for the game to remain in early access for six to twelve months. That suggests a potential full release window between late August 2025 and early 2026.

However, even if the game eventually launches on consoles, that doesn’t guarantee cross-platform functionality. Cross-play support would depend on additional development decisions and technical implementation, which haven’t been addressed yet.
