PUBG Mobile Partners with University of Southern California

PUBG Mobile is set to make waves in the academic world by partnering with the University of Southern California (USC). This collaboration will bring the World of Wonder platform into the classroom, enriching the Games as a Service and Live Operations course starting in 2026. Students will not only gain theoretical knowledge but also practical insights, as they’ll be able to bring their creative concepts to life and receive feedback from the PUBG Mobile community.

Empowering Future Game Developers

The integration of World of Wonder into USC’s curriculum is designed to unleash students’ creativity, allowing them to develop projects that will be showcased at the USC Games Expo in May 2026. The best-performing students will get the chance to secure interviews for summer internships, aiming to channel fresh talent into the gaming industry. With more than 50 universities globally already collaborating with PUBG Mobile, this partnership marks a significant step in preparing students for a career in game development.

PUBG Mobile’s Expanding Horizon in 2025

Beyond educational initiatives, PUBG Mobile continues to engage the entertainment world through various brand partnerships. In September, the game teamed up with internet sensation Skibidi Toilet, offering unique game modes and themed rewards. The competitive scene also flourishes, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup attracting massive audiences, solidifying its place as a top-tier mobile esports event.

Content Creations and Esports Ventures

The commitment to enhancing the gaming ecosystem is evident as KRAFTON invests heavily in content creators with the Next Star Program, featuring a substantial $6 million prize pool. World of Wonder’s recent update, alongside a $10 million prize pool, underscores PUBG Mobile’s dedication to fostering creativity and innovation within its community.
