Ubisoft is behind popular first-person shooter Rainbow Six Siege X, which is getting some vital changes to lessen toxicity.
Ubisoft’s Y10S3.3 patch includes a voice chat moderator to prevent disruptive behavior to improve player experiences. Players can now report ‘detected disruptive voice or text chat’ during both casual and competitive matches, beginning from October 14th, 2025.
Ensuring Accurate Feedback
If a player gets an incorrect play detection and they are at least Respectable, they can give feedback. This makes sure that the punishments players receive are deserved and fit the behavior they demonstrated. This feedback system resets every voice chat detection as a result of this. So the community is starting fresh!
The anti-toxicity initiative is not the only one that will see changes in Rainbow Six Siege X. Changes to the anti-cheat will take place, balancing changes and ranked improvement will also be announced. As a result, players will likely enjoy these updates before the BLAST R6 Munich Major, which happens between November 8 and November 16, with a $750,000 prize pool for 16 competing teams. The tournament victor will earn automatic entry to the Six Invitational 2026.

Ubisoft’s October Overhaul
October is a turning point in the Ubisoft and Rainbow Six saga. The developer has launched Vantage Studios, a new business division to manage the development and expansion of games like Rainbow Six Siege, Assassin’s Creed, and Far Cry.
The Wider Battle Against Toxicity in Gaming
Rainbow Six Siege X is taking action against toxic behavior just like other gaming companies are doing a lot these days. Earlier this year, Riot Games announced a new system meant to foster respect among players while punishing negativity. More and more development is focused on creating positive interactions with communities.
