Rainbow Six Unveils New European Tier 2 Esports Plan for 2025/2026 Season

Ubisoft has revealed an extensive plan for the Rainbow Six Siege European Tier 2 esports circuit, introducing significant changes for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. This revamped roadmap brings fresh opportunities and adjustments in how teams earn points, compete, and build their rosters.

Previously, teams could only accumulate circuit points by participating in three main tournaments: Central Combine, South Breach, and North Rainbow Rumble. Now, Ubisoft is expanding the system to allow points to be gained through a wider range of partnered secondary tournaments across Europe. This opens the door for more competitive events and greater participation.

Additionally, the new structure welcomes teams from the Middle East and North America to join the European Tier 2 scene, expanding the competitive landscape. Alongside this inclusion, Ubisoft has introduced updated rules regarding player transfers, roster requirements, and point distribution to better balance the competition.

Key Tournaments and Prize Pools

The three primary tournaments remain the cornerstone of the Tier 2 circuit. Each event offers a prize pool of €20,000 (approximately $21,500), with the year-end Tier 2 Grand Final adding an extra €15,000 (around $16,100). This brings the total prize money for the season to €75,000 (close to $80,600), and the top teams will earn spots in the advanced stages of the Challenger Series 2026.

The tournament schedule kicks off with Central Combine running from June through August, followed by Rainbow Rumble in August and September, and South Breach from September to November. While detailed formats and dates for Rainbow Rumble and South Breach are yet to be announced, Ubisoft has provided a full breakdown of the Central Combine event.

Breakdown of Central Combine 2025

Central Combine begins on June 21st with qualifier matches held over the first two weekends. The top 16 teams from these qualifiers will advance to the next phase, known as the Division Clash.

Division Clash takes place on July 5th and 6th, where the 16 teams are divided into four divisions across two conferences. After two rounds of play, 12 teams will move forward to the Conference Clash.

Conference Clash is scheduled for July 12th and 13th. Teams compete within their conferences, each playing six matches. The top six teams from this phase will qualify for the playoffs.

The playoffs, set for July 19th and 20th, will follow a single-elimination format. Notably, the two highest-ranked teams from the Conference Clash receive byes, advancing directly to later rounds. The season culminates with offline finals on August 2nd in Düsseldorf, Germany, where the best teams will battle for the championship.

Expanding Horizons for Competitive Rainbow Six Siege

This new Tier 2 esports roadmap reflects Ubisoft’s commitment to growing the Rainbow Six Siege competitive scene in Europe and beyond. By broadening eligibility, increasing tournament opportunities, and refining competition rules, the 2025/2026 season promises to be an exciting chapter for players and fans alike.
