Riot Games Unveils Exciting 2v2 Skirmish Tournament for UK VALORANT Enthusiasts

Riot Games is set to excite UK players with a thrilling new tournament on VALORANT’s latest game mode, Skirmish. This 2v2 competition promises intense action and a vibrant showcase of skills, culminating in a grand finale at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Central London on November 30th.

Unveiling the Tournament Details

Starting as an online event, players eager to participate can register for the VUKC Online Qualifiers via the official Challengermode website. Qualifier 1 kicks off on November 22nd, followed by Qualifier 2 on November 23rd. Additionally, an offline Last Chance Play-in will occur on November 30th, with applications opening during Finals week. Notably, special slots will be provided for university students and EVC, a partner of Challengermode.

Competition Format and Grand Finale

Duos will face off in a double elimination bracket during the online qualifiers, with the top eight from each advancing to the Finals. While specifics about the Last Chance Play-in qualifications are still under wraps, excitement is building for the main event. The grand finale will see 32 duos competing for a share of the £1500 prize pool. Fans eager to witness the action live can purchase tickets through Eventbrite.

As the excitement for the UK Skirmish builds, another major event is on the horizon. The VALORANT Game Changers Championship will take place in Seoul, South Korea, from November 20th to 30th. Top GC teams will compete at LoL Park for a grand prize pool of $500,000 (~£379,965). Fans can catch all the action live on the VALORANT Champions Tour’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.
