Unveiled on November 21st, 2025, the Epic Games Store is set to be one of the prominent partners for the RLCS. This collaboration arrives as the Rocket League esports circuit celebrates its tenth anniversary, having launched in 2016. Over the years, the league has attracted renowned teams like Team Vitality, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and NRG. The partnership with the Epic Games Store signifies a new era of growth and expansion for the RLCS.
2026 Season Kick-Off
The 2026 season commenced with the first online Open tournaments on November 14th, with regions like Europe and North America launching their Swiss stages. Teams such as Team Vitality and Karmine Corp led the European groups, while Spacestation Gaming and Gen.G dominated in North America. In South America, Changuitos FC and Novadrift claimed the top spots. The top eight teams from each group have advanced to the Group Stage, narrowing the competition to 16 teams competing for eight playoff spots.
Exciting Events Ahead
Following NRG’s triumph at the 2025 RLCS World Championship, the upcoming offline tournaments promise even more excitement, beginning with the Kick-Off LAN in Copenhagen, Denmark, from December 5th to 7th. Eight teams will vie for the first title of the season. Future highlights include the first Major of the season in North America next February, followed by a thrilling event at the La Défense Arena in Paris in May.
